Chryss joined Carus in May 2019 as CFO, bringing extensive experience in managing both privately held and publicly traded organizations. She accepted the role of Acting CEO in February 2020. Chryss has served in roles such as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operations Officer, and ultimately served as President of Armstrong Aerospace, a division of Astronics Corporation, a publicly traded company. In these various roles, Chryss was responsible for overall company performance, financial operations, and strategic sourcing. Chryss began her career in Public Accounting with clients in the manufacturing, distribution and real estate sectors for mid-sized private and public entities. She left to take roles in Corporate Reporting/SOX compliance of publicly traded companies, as well as managing large, privately held family enterprises. Chryss is a Certified Public Accountant in Illinois. She belongs to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois Certified Public Accountants Society. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Allen brings over 30 years of leadership experience in the chemical industry, with demonstrated success in driving strategy, innovation, and execution. Prior to joining Carus in 2018, Allen served as Vice President of Operations for C.I. Thornburg, serving customers in the municipal water and wastewater industry. In more than a decade as a C.I. Thornburg Vice President, Allen directed key strategic projects resulting in reductions in safety incidents and implementation of NACD Responsible Distribution. Prior to joining C.I. Thornburg, Allen held leadership roles at Supresta and AkzoNobel. Allen is a member of AIChE, the world's leading organization for chemical engineers, and he also belongs to the American Water Works Association. Allen holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from Auburn University.
Marie brings extensive experience in growing global businesses through customer focus, technical expertise, and leadership in management of multiple functions and multi-cultural teams to the organization. Marie joined Carus in 2001 as Market Research and Development Manager. In 2007, she was named Vice President International and Managing Director of Carus Europe. She was later promoted to the position of Vice President, Corporate Development, responsible for mergers and acquisitions. Marie assumed her current role in 2014. Prior to joining Carus, Marie worked for SNPE, Paris, France where she was Global Market Manager for Fine Chemicals after having held several positions in Sales and Marketing. Marie holds a Master of Science in Chemistry from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Paris, and a Master of Business Administration from CESMA Ecole de Management de Lyon.
Greg has more than 30 years of legal experience, working extensively as a senior business, litigation, and labor lawyer both in-house and in private practice. Prior to joining Carus Group in 2014, Greg served as Vice President, Assistant General Counsel for Robert Bosch LLC, where he managed the legal activities of six affiliate companies including corporate governance, regulatory compliance, negotiating major transactions, mergers and acquisitions, litigation and labor and employment issues. He previously served as Managing Counsel for Dow Corning Corporation. Greg is a member of the Illinois and Michigan Bar Associations, the Association of Corporate Counsel, and also served as a member of the Illinois Bar Association Corporate Law Departments Section Council. Greg also belongs to the International Association of Defense Counsel and Defense Research Institute, he is a frequent speaker at legal seminars, and he serves as Vice Chair of the IADC Technology Committee. Greg completed his undergraduate studies at DePaul University, where he is a member College of Liberal Arts Dean’s Advisory Committee, and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where he serves as a member of the Law School Alumni Board of Directors.
Jacob Wildeson joined Carus as Vice President of Commercial Development in September 2017. Jacob oversees the research and development, strategic market development, and commercial launch of new products in the water treatment, remediation and emissions control segments, where advanced oxidation via manganese chemistries is a key enabler. Before joining Carus, Jacob held various positions with BASF, leading product development and commercial efforts in their Architectural Coatings, Construction Adhesives/Sealants, Additive Manufacturing Materials, Emission and Process Catalysts business segments. Jacob has a broad range of international experience, serving as delegate in Germany for 3 years and has travelled to over 40 countries to realize various commercial development opportunities. A native of Pennsylvania, Jacob holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Shippensburg University and a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from Texas A&M University specializing in Catalysis and Material Design.
