Our CARUSOL® line of liquid permanganate, global brands of sodium permanganate, are versatile oxidants used to treat drinking water, wastewater, industrial process chemicals, plus numerous other applications. CARUSOL products are effective for potable drinking water applications including iron removal, manganese removal, hydrogen sulfide odor control, mercaptan odor control, color reduction, and radium reduction.
LIQUOX® sodium permanganate is a liquid oxidant. The significant advantage with LIQUOX is its high solubility in water, allowing it to be a more convenient and concentrated form of permanganate when used for electronics and organic oxidation of fine chemicals and pharmaceuticals.

Carus Polymers are an integral part of many municipal and industrial water treatment processes. CARULITE® 300 catalyst is used to effectively destroy carbon monoxide in compressed breathing air, respirators, escape masks, and cryogenic gas purification.
CARULITE 300 should be handled with care. Protective equipment in handling should include safety glasses or goggles and rubber or plastic gloves. In cases where high dust exposure may exist, the use of NIOSH-MSHA dust respirator or an air-supplied respirator is advised.
CARULITE® 200 catalyst is used to effectively destroy ozone emitted from various off-gas emissions, converting toxic ozone to oxygen in water off-gass, digital printers, and corona printing off-gas applications.
CARULITE 200 catalyst should be handled with care. Protective equipment in handling should include safety glasses or goggles and rubber or plastic gloves. In cases where high dust exposure may exist, the use of NIOSH-MSHA dust respirator or an air-supplied respirator is advised.
CARULITE® 400 catalyst is used to effectively destroy ozone or adsorb various gases and malodors after being coated onto a substrate. Metallic, ceramic and cellulose are typical substrates.
Unused CARULITE 400 catalyst is not considered a hazardous waste under U.S. 40 CFR 261. Dispose of used CARULITE 400 catalyst in a landfill approved to accept chemical waste, after verifying that it is not contaminated with hazardous substances through usage.
CARULITE® 500 catalyst is used to effectively destroy ethylene oxide emissions resulting from sterilization of medical equipment and supplies. The catalyst converts toxic ethylene oxide, at low temperatures, to carbon dioxide and water.
CARULITE 500 catalyst should be handled with care. Protective equipment in handling should include safety glasses or goggles and rubber or plastic gloves. In cases where high dust exposure may exist, the use of NIOSH-MSHA dust respirator or an air-supplied respirator is advised.
