Darin Skutt

About Darin Skutt

Darin Skutt is a Senior Technical Service Specialist with more than 25 years of experience supporting municipal, industrial, and remediation customers at Carus. As part of the Technical Service team, he conducts laboratory testing and product demonstrations, delivers technical training and safety presentations, and provides guidance on safe chemical handling and dosing systems. Darin supports a wide range of markets, including municipal drinking water and wastewater treatment, industrial water and wastewater treatment, and environmental remediation, helping customers optimize treatment performance while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

He joined Carus in 1999, beginning his career as a Quality Control Chemist before transitioning into Technical Services, and previously worked as a Plant Chemist for another chemical company. Darin holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Illinois Wesleyan University, is ACS-certified, and is a published author with AWWA and WEF, as well as an active member of AWWA, WEF, and the American Chemical Society.
