As part of our ongoing commitment to safety, Carus will conduct a planned evacuation (fire) drill at our LaSalle Manufacturing plant on Wednesday, October 21, at approximately 10:30 AM.
During the drill, announcements will be made over our internal emergency radio channel, and the fire alarm will sound. Employees will evacuate designated areas as part of the exercise. We are sharing this information in advance because members of the surrounding community may hear or notice these activities.
Please be assured that this is only a drill and there is no threat to public safety.
Regular emergency drills help ensure our employees know exactly what to do in the event of an actual emergency. By practicing ahead of time, we help promote a safe, orderly, and effective response should an emergency ever occur.
