The holidays are a busy time of year, and amidst all the parties and pageants, it’s important to spend time with loved ones. Carus has a long history of hosting family-friendly events for our employees, and this year we focused on offering holiday celebrations that catered to spouses, children, and extended family.
Our annual LaSalle-Peru holiday party was themed “A Very Carus Christmas,” and took place at Senica’s Oak Ridge in LaSalle. The evening featured live music from duo Ben and Kate, beautiful homemade centerpieces and decor, an array of raffle prizes, and a custom cocktail Rudolph’s Tipsy Spritzer. Employees enjoyed a buffet dinner and dessert, as well as a festive photobooth, door prizes, and a treat for everyone from Garrett’s Popcorn and Frango Mints.
Keeping with Carus tradition, we hosted an open house event at Peru Headquarters for our employees and their family and friends. The event featured live music, appetizers, desserts, wine, and Tangled Roots beer on tap. Plus story time and crafts hosted by elves and a special visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. We even had a photobooth setup so families could capture a special photo with Santa Claus!
The Carus team in Belmont, North Carolina participated in the annual Belmont Christmas Parade through Belmont’s Historic Downtown. Our employees and their families had a great time decorating the Carus float and handing out candy to parade goers. The team also decorated a Carus-themed tree in the Festival of Trees in Downtown Belmont.
