As part of our ongoing commitment to safety, Carus will be conducting a planned severe weather (tornado) drill at our LaSalle Manufacturing plant on April 8, between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m.
During this time, announcements will be made over our internal emergency radio channel, and a severe weather alarm will briefly sound. We’re sharing this information in advance because members of the surrounding community may hear or notice these alerts. Please be assured that this is only a drill, and there is no threat to public safety.
We regularly conduct these drills so our employees know exactly what to do in the event of real severe weather. Practicing ahead of time helps ensure a calm, quick, and safe response should an emergency ever occur.
The safety of our employees, neighbors, and community is our top priority. Thank you for your understanding as we take proactive steps to stay prepared.
