PERU, IL (May 1, 2023) – Carus will host an initial community town hall meeting on Wednesday, May 10 at the LaSalle-Peru Township High School Auditorium. Local residents, City of LaSalle officials, and other government officials are invited to hear directly from Carus leadership about the recovery and support efforts following the fire on January 11, 2023.

WHAT: Community town hall meeting to ask questions and hear directly from Carus leadership about recovery and community support efforts following the fire on January 11 at the LaSalle plant. To ensure everyone’s questions are heard, residents are encouraged to submit questions ahead of the town hall via our website.
WHEN: Wednesday, May 10 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
WHERE: LaSalle-Peru Township High School Auditorium, located at 541 Chartres Street in LaSalle, IL 61301
DETAILS: Jay LeSeure from 95.3 FM will moderate this community town hall meeting where local residents will have the chance to ask questions, express concerns, and hear updates directly from Carus leadership. In addition to local residents, City of LaSalle officials and other government officials have been invited to attend and participate in these town hall meetings.
This will be the first of a series of community town hall meetings, with additional town halls to be held in the coming months. Details on those meetings will be provided at a later date.
