Safety is critically important in manufacturing, and it remains a top priority at Carus. We are proud to share the CAIROX and Maintenance Teams have just achieved three years without a recordable injury. This is a significant safety milestone for the LaSalle Plant.
“We are extremely proud of both teams for this achievement,” says Joseph McNamara, EHSS Manager. “It is our highest priority to send employees home safely to family, friends, and loved ones.”
At Carus, our shared goal is to never have an injury. This requires each person to take action every day to ensure all tasks are safe, hazards are mitigated prior to work, and that we challenge each other when we see opportunity for improvement.
We celebrated the outstanding achievement with a visit from Flo’s Food Truck, a hometown favorite.
