Applications
For multilayer printed circuit boards, permanganate (CAIROX®, AQUOX® and LIQUOX® permanganate) is applied to desmear or remove excess friction melted resin.
Permanganate is also used for Etchback, to enhance micro-roughness of drilled holes which are later copper plated.
